Principal's Message

Dear Students, Staff, Parents, and Community Members:Image

I am truly excited to serve as the Principal of North Junior High School. It is a privilege and an honor to lead NJHS during a time of incredible change and tremendous possibilities. Our challenge is to embrace the future of the 21st century and assure that our students are more than adequately prepared for their high school experience.

To our students, take time to set/reflect on your goals and strive to do your best every day. Know that administration, faculty, and staff are here to support and encourage you as you explore different opportunities and grow as learners. Remember that with these opportunities, come a personal and collective responsibility to be supportive of one another and our school. I expect you to get involved with as many school activities as you can, and I will count on you to carry yourselves with “Husky P.R.I.D.E.” We will all be “Prepared, Respectful, individuals with Integrity who are Determined to Excel”.

To our staff, I pledge my commitment to support you as we work together to make NJHS the highest performing middle school in EVSC and one of the top schools in the state.  A school that aspires to greatness can expect no less. To our parents and community, it is essential that you take an active role in our students' success. With students in our building only two years, it is crucial that we maintain parent involvement. I encourage you to get involved right away with PTA/PTSA. There is always an opportunity to lend a hand, and you will always be welcomed with a smile! Our parents, teachers, students and staff work hard to create a respectful, responsible, and safe environment.

Serving as Principal of North Junior High is as great an honor as it is a responsibility. I believe that the foundation for our future accomplishments has been laid, but we must build lasting relationships and provide our students with academic experiences that are unique, rigorous, and relevant.

I look forward to exciting times at North Jr. High School!
