Enrollment forms can be found in Main office and at this link. I need ALL forms signed and returned other than the CIA Application. If students are interested in the CIA club, please return that as well. Please return forms to the office or media center.

If your student is interested in any of the programs below or have questions have them see me or the lead teacher for details about signing up.

*All meeting times are tentative so it is key to have students reach out to lead teacher before staying to make sure the program is being held that day.

Hello everyone,

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the afterschool clubs.

Most the club will start on their regular scheduled day and time, there are a few that start later in the year.

Chess Club- Mike Maguire starts October 26th

Hockey starts- October 26th  till March 16th  Mrs. Harris will also be in touch with everyone whom has filled out her special application

French Club- first date is Sept. 17th, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/10, 4/14

Yearbook –starts Sept. 17th Ms. Wagoner will be taking over this club this year, and will be doing interviews the first two meetings

 CIA, Hockey, Chess. Bowling

Welcome back to Afterschool Programs
We have a new semester and two new clubs to join

Gardening Club: Learn about all types of gardening & plants. We will be planting both Fall & Spring Crops, attending flower & gardening shows, selling plants and flowers during the year, we also are working with the help of the 4H Purdue Extension. Sign-up in the front office, Ms. Taylor's room, or in the media center.

Club Starts Friday January 10th
Mrs. Taylor (limit 10-12) Rm244

College & Career Readiness: 7-week program focuses on career exploration, college planning, and confidence-building. Discover different occupations through hands-on and interactive activities. Explore opportunities in Evansville through trips to local businesses and colleges.

Club starts Monday 13th
Ms. Emily Roos Rm

Other clubs are up and running and looking for new members, if you are interested in any of the following clubs please go and join at their next meeting when it meets. There are new rosters in the office and in the media center.

As for the rest of the clubs, the students will go to their first meeting and the teachers will go through interviews/ try-outs to see who best fits the clubs, or who may benefit from being in that club the most. The students who do not get chosen right away will then go on a waiting list. and will be contacted when spots become available. Most of the clubs are trying hard to accommodate as many students as possible.

We have had to cancel a couple of clubs due to low numbers. Tennis, Gardening, & College Readiness.

I am going to look into where we are in the second half of the year and see if we can bring these back in. The Booker T club is now part of the Y-Cap Program. Cause for Paws is being combined with Environment and will start this week.

If anyone has, any questions please feel free to e-mail me. [email protected]

I will try to answer as many questions as time limits over the weekend. I will also be at the Pastries and parents event on September 11th here at the school. I would love to meet you all.

Have a great weekend everyone
